The Original Work ute — Unlocked
The Nissan Navara D40 was a staple of the Australian ute scene from 2005 to 2015. Powered by the 2.5L YD25DDTi turbo diesel, it earned a reputation as a tough, capable workhorse — even if the factory tune was conservative.
At Stealth Installs we've worked on countless D40s over the years. These utes are getting on in years but they're still excellent platforms when set up properly. Whether you need a tow-tuned work ute or a capable touring rig, we know exactly what the D40 needs.

A 3" stainless exhaust reduces backpressure on the YD25DDTi turbo, helping spool response and freeing up the mid-range. Off-road DPF options available for touring builds.
Catch Can Systems
The YD25DDTi produces significant blow-by that contaminates the intake over time — especially on higher-kilometre D40s. A catch can is essential preventative maintenance.
