Ford Ranger 2.0L Bi-Turbo P4AT Diesel Tuning

Can the P4AT Bi-Turbo Ranger Be Tuned Successfully?
P4AT 2.0L 4-Cylinder Bi-Turbo Diesel
The 2.0L bi-turbo (P4AT) has a highly sophisticated ECU that was locked down for years — no one could unlock its power until recently. We've now gained access to the calibration tools needed to tune this engine properly, and we've started getting our hands on them.
Fewer of these were produced than other engines in the Ranger family, so they're a relatively rare platform. But the dual-turbo setup has excellent headroom, delivering strong gains across the full rev range once unlocked — we deliver real, measurable results validated on our in-house dyno.

The Bi-Turbo Platform. Performance Unlocked.
The Ford Ranger's 2.0L bi-turbo (P4AT) is a sophisticated engine with an ECU that was notoriously difficult to crack. For years, no one could unlock its power — but we've recently gained access to the calibration tools needed to tune it properly, and we've started getting our hands on them.
Fewer P4AT Rangers were produced than other engines in the Ranger family, making them a relatively rare platform. At Stealth Installs, we're now equipped to tune these at our Salisbury workshop — whether it's a work truck, tow vehicle, or touring rig, we'll set your Ranger up to perform at its best.

What We Do for Your Ranger
Proven modifications for the P4AT bi-turbo platform.
ECU Remapping
The 2.0L bi-turbo has excellent headroom, delivering strong gains across the full rev range. The dual-turbo setup responds exceptionally well to our calibrations, transforming everyday driveability and towing capability.
Intercooler Upgrades
The factory intercooler becomes a bottleneck under sustained load. An upgraded unit keeps charge temperatures stable when towing or working hard in Australian heat.
Exhaust Systems
A 3" stainless exhaust reduces backpressure and helps the bi-turbo system breathe more freely, improving spool response and supporting the tune. Off-road DPF options available.
Catch Can Systems
The P4AT engine produces blow-by that contaminates the intake over time. A quality catch can is one of the most important preventative maintenance items for Ranger owners.
Suspension & Lift
Ranger suspension setups for work, towing, or off-road adventures. We set your ute up to handle accessories, tray loads, and camper trailers without compromising driveability.
Accessory Installs
Bull bars, canopies, roof racks, dual battery, winches, and auxiliary lighting — we build complete Ranger work and touring vehicles ready for the job.
