Our 2.5L TFSI tuning program delivers real, measurable results — validated on our partnership-accessed 4WD dyno. The EA855 is one of the most celebrated engines in the VW Group's history — a 2.5-litre inline-five cylinder turbo petrol that produces a legendary exhaust note and enormous tuning potential. Found in the Audi RS Q3, RS3, and TT RS, this engine is a favourite among enthusiasts.
The EA855 has significant mechanical headroom over the factory calibration. The five-cylinder architecture is incredibly robust, and gains of 60-90 kW are achievable with a quality remap. Whether it's an RS Q3, an RS3, or a TT RS, we calibrate specifically for each variant — the Gen 1 CEPA and Gen 2 DAZA have different turbochargers and require different approaches.

ECU Remapping
The EA855 responds exceptionally well to remapping — the five-cylinder architecture is incredibly robust and the turbocharger has significant headroom. Eco Package gains of 60-70 kW are typical. Power Package with downpipe and intake delivers 90+ kW gains.
Downpipe & Exhaust
A performance downpipe is essential for Power Package+ tuning — it reduces backpressure on the turbo and unlocks the legendary five-cylinder exhaust note. We supply and fit quality downpipe and exhaust systems.
Intake Upgrades
A performance intake improves airflow to the turbo, complementing the remap and downpipe for improved throttle response and more consistent power delivery, particularly at higher RPM.
Catch Can Systems
The EA855 is a direct-injection engine and is prone to intake valve carbon buildup. A quality catch can significantly reduces this contamination, protecting the engine long-term — particularly important on high-performance engines.
Intercooler Upgrades
An upgraded intercooler keeps charge air temperatures under control — particularly important on tuned five-cylinder engines driven hard. Consistent performance in all conditions, especially in Australian summer heat.
