A comprehensive caravan service isn't just about keeping the caravan roadworthy—it's about ensuring all of these systems are operating correctly before you head off on your next adventure.

Every caravan is different, but a proper caravan service should involve much more than simply checking the wheel bearings. At Stealth Installs, we carry out a comprehensive inspection of the caravan's major mechanical and electrical systems to help ensure everything is operating safely and reliably before your next trip.

Running Gear & Safety Components

• Wheel bearings inspected and serviced where required
• Brake inspection and adjustment
• Tyres inspected for wear, age and damage
• Wheel nut torque checked
• Coupling inspected and re-greased
• Jockey wheel inspected
• Safety chains and shackles checked
• Chassis and A-frame inspected for damage or wear

Suspension Inspection

Where applicable, we inspect the caravan's suspension components for wear or damage.

If the suspension is fitted with greaseable components, these are re-greased as part of the service to help maintain smooth operation and extend component life.

12V Electrical System

Modern caravans rely heavily on their 12-volt electrical systems.

As part of the inspection, we'll check the operation of key components, including:

• Exterior lighting
• Water pumps
• Battery condition
• Battery charging systems
• Solar charging (where fitted)
• DC-DC chargers

240V Electrical System

Where applicable, we also inspect the operation of the caravan's 240V systems.

Caravan Control Systems

Many modern caravans are fitted with central control units that manage multiple onboard systems.

General Safety Checks

We'll also inspect items such as:

• Exterior lights

• Reverse lights (where fitted)

• General condition of accessible components
